You've heard plenty of ways how to grow your social media following (including here + here). One of the biggest misconceptions about social media followings is that the number of followers you have equals success.
WRONG.
You could have 10k followers on Instagram, but 70% of them are SPAM or following you simply for a follow back. These are completely useless. Here's the one thing to remember:
QUALITY OVER QUANTITY.
So, how do you get your targeted, ideal follower? ENGAGE WITH THEM.
Two big points:
1. If they comment on your post, respond to them.
2. Search relevant hashtags (i.e. #veganmom), like AND comment on their post. Be genuine! The key here is to comment on their photos. You will bring attention to yourself more than just liking their photos.
Keep at this daily and you will start to see your ideal followers come to you.
